Lucky and Unlucky Numbers:
Many a times, a question is asked as to whether
there are certain numbers which are considered lucky and certain numbers are
unlucky. In fact in Numerology, there
are no lucky or unlucky numbers as such. What may be lucky number for one
person may not be so for another. It all depends upon what number one is
governed by. For instance, Romans
regarded Even numbers are unlucky.
A unique
importance is also given to number 3 ; most of the faiths of the world have recognized a trinity such as, Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh;
Dharma-Artha-Kama; Satva-Rajas-Tama.
Odd and Even Numbers
Odd numbers are considered to be Masculine,
insoluble and of celestial nature, where as the Even numbers are regarded as
Feminine and pertaining to Earth.
Numbers Affinity
There are 9 planets, and they are represented by 9
different numbers. The birth date- reduced to a single number—also represents
planetary influences. The following chart shows the relationship between the

There is another system known as the Unit Method by which the harmonies of
numbers are as under:
ü A number vibrating to another shows that there is considerable mutual attraction and the
marriage will be very favorable.
ü A number that
attracts another shows that the two people are well-suited to each other.
ü A number that disagrees with other shows the union
will call for a great deal of Diplomacy.
ü Where a number is passive, it merely means that
numerology offers no opinion—there being no outstanding effect for good or bad.
ü If the two numbers are alike, it is a foregone conclusion that the union will be very
favorable.
